Mounting the sail
I put the 12'x12' sail up on mounts that were about 16'x16'. I used heavy duty bungie straps, instead of the mounting hardware that came with the sail, to see how it would look. Turns out the bungie straps worked real well and pulled the sail real tight. I think I may leave it that way. I am really very happy with this product.

Great product
This is a great product and value. Comes with a good assortment of hardware. These were bought to replace and add to existing area . One of the originals wore thru the fabric (after 3 years) due to contact with hardware from rubbing. Be sure you have a plan layer out before you buy

Great product!
Excellent product. I live in Orlando, Florida. I originally purchased this sail 2 years ago to help cut down the heat. Our back yard has a lot of pavement and the summmer heat is to much for the plants and us. I now own a total of 5 sails in different colors. they hold up well. You can't go wrong. Thanks shelter logic!

Questions & Answers
Do you sell poles for the sunshades? I was not able to locate them on your site.
I recently purchased 1 1/4" diameter galvanized pipe by 10ft length from Lowe's and drilled a hole at the top and installed an eye bolt for my connection point. I was able to attach this 10ft pole to my wooden deck using hardware also found at Lowe's.

How would you Anchor the sail to brick As we have a 16x16 deck.
Hi Alexa, The basic hardware kit that is included does not include a connection for brick. Since the shade sail has a ring in each cover you would have to attach something to the brick and then use the rope to attach the shade sail. Thank you

What is the difference between the regular and heavyweight model
Hi Lindsay, The GSM on the lighter option is 160 compared to the heavy weight option which is 230. The GSM refers to grams per square meter and how tight the weave is. Thank you

Is this product intended to be temporary or to stay in place? With a permanent install what is a realistic life expectancy?
This is a temporary sail that is great for providing shade. The life expectancy will vary based on application, location and the physical elements. If you have any additional questions please call us at 1800-932-9344. Thank you!
