Rated 3 out of 5 by from It does the job intended. This shed is designed to keep your stuff out of the rain, direct sunlight and sight. It is not a vault. Locks keep honest people honest. Even a cheap bolt cutter can remove a lock. Yes the panels are thin. If they were thicker it would raise the price of the shed and shipping it. Remember, you have to pick these up. Once properly assembled it will stiffen up. You do however need to be skilled to assemble this shed. Your helper needs to be skilled at this sort of thing too. I had to hold the nuts near the ridge with needle nose pliers while Troy spun the bolts. The screws are small but adequate. These are sheet metal screws and are not meant to be torqued. Once the parts come together and the head of screw makes contact STOP. You may also turn the torque control of your drill to lower setting. If the holes don't line up they will penetrate the rails with patience and exrta force, provided the helper back them up with a block of wood to keep from bending the rail (Last resort only). Cordless drills with magnetic bits are a must. QCdave

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not So Good Very cheaply made. Material is a little thicker than HD Foil.No were near as strong as the Arrow shed I am replacing. That one lasted over 18 years and was still strong except for the paint coming off. Very POOR Packaging most pieces were chipped and scratched. Would never buy an ARROW Shed again. Probably made in CHINA where everything else is made.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely HORRID This shed is the eptiome of cheap and poorly engineered. Many holes do not line up, and after putting the walls up, and collecting parts for the next step, a little bit of wind (>10mph) picked up the shed and crumpled it. I'm now left with a $600 pile of scrap. Do NOT buy this shed. The customer service is what I'm hoping is good in all of this. The metal is thin and weak, and if you try to assemble this outside, you will probably lose the battle. It MUST be assembled inside a garage and then moved to its final location. Hopefully, the customer service is better than the product here. Could NEVER recommend this unit...ever.

Hi Rod, We would recommend dismantling the shed and carefully storing the hardware and panels, then re-assembling.

Looking at 10 x 12 Arrow sheds from various retailers. What is the difference between AR, LW, LM etc., series? Which is better?

Asked by: Battlestations
Hello, The aesthetics are the main difference (colors, styles, etc). Second, some of these models are retail exclusive models and cannot be purchased elsewhere. To discuss in more detail please give us a call at 1-800-851-1085 (press 1). Thank you

Why is the wooden base built 1 1/8" wider than the the building base dimensions?

Asked by: QCdave
I will answer my own question after having completed my shed. I did not like the idea of having the base stick out and smearing roof cement all over it. Build your base 1-1/8" shorter than the dimensions given. Use aluminum flashing to cover the edges of the plywood floor. I even bent a little kick out at the bottom for the professional look. You must make a temporary brake and bend the flashing 90 degrees to fit over the edge of the platform. You also need to make four corners. I used 2X6 treated lumber and added a sill plate for joists to rest upon. You need 2X6 to span 10' My platform rests on 6 masonary cap blocks.

What is the estimated time to install the Arlington shed? Are two people required?

Asked by: Don49
It took QCdave and Troy 10 hours to assemble including one short break and an hour for lunch. We are both skilled craftsmen. I am 62 and Troy is 59. We left a few bolts out on the gable and did not assemble the door in this 10 hours. I did the rest the next day by myself and tighted up bolts we left loose on purpose.

Hey! Is this shed waterproof?

Asked by: quinn21
Hi Quinn, When properly assembled and all of the washers and weather stripping is installed according to the manual this should not be an issue. Some customers do go over the bottom edges with clear silicone as an added precaution. If you would like to discuss this in more detail please feel free to call us at 1-800-851-1085 (press 1). Thank you
