Can i use steel siding on my 10x12

Asked by: Marc
Hi Marc, Thank you for your question. The kit is really designed to work with wood so we are unsure how steel siding would work therefore we can't recommend that. We do offer many steel sheds if you wanted to go that route we would be happy to discuss the best option for you. Thank you

hello, what type of floor is included , if any? is it a metal floor? how thick is it? is it a wood floor what material? can you chose to buy a wood floor? does it have to be on a concrete slab only or can it be placed on 4x4 pressure treated posts? Thanks

Asked by: jimmyjeans
Hello, There is no floor included with the Ironwood shed. You can opt to build the shed on a concrete or you can place on 4x4 pressure treated posts as you mentioned. If you choose to install on pressure treated wood, it is important to put a barrier between the pressure treated posts and the frame such as a strip of rubber. This due to the corrosive nature in how they pressure treat the lumber. Thank you!

The sidewall height is listed as 69 1/4" tall. The instructions for the wood siding say it has to be 48 x 96" panels. Does this mean that once I buy the 96" panels, I would be cutting them down to 69 1/4" myself?

Asked by: Bobask
Hello, Depending on whether you will be installing the wood panels vertically or horizontally you will have to cut the panels to the dimensions specified in the manual. All of our shed manuals can be found at the link provided below. If you have any additional questions feel free to give us a call at 1-800-851-1085 (press 1). Thank you
