Rated 5 out of 5 by Neil in Vermont from Mounting the sail I put the 12'x12' sail up on mounts that were about 16'x16'. I used heavy duty bungie straps, instead of the mounting hardware that came with the sail, to see how it would look. Turns out the bungie straps worked real well and pulled the sail real tight. I think I may leave it that way. I am really very happy with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Steve W from Great product This is a great product and value. Comes with a good assortment of hardware. These were bought to replace and add to existing area . One of the originals wore thru the fabric (after 3 years) due to contact with hardware from rubbing. Be sure you have a plan layer out before you buy

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tinaxoom from Great product! Excellent product. I live in Orlando, Florida. I originally purchased this sail 2 years ago to help cut down the heat. Our back yard has a lot of pavement and the summmer heat is to much for the plants and us. I now own a total of 5 sails in different colors. they hold up well. You can't go wrong. Thanks shelter logic!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Wiscasset Steve from Good quality material and workmanship The sun shade sail is well made. Material is high quality. The connections and hardware are good. Installation is fairly easy and straightforward. The main complained that I face is we get a lot of rain in Maine. The sail doesn't allow the rain water to pass through the material quickly enough so the added weight of the water stretches the material or the ropes that attach it to the post. So I need to keep to retighten them periodically.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jeanne A from Not square This is my 2nd shade sail from shelter logic. This one has a flaw in the mesh where it looks to be a potential failure with the tension of the sail. Also, the sides are so curved, it is at least 1 ft shorter on each side than the previous 16 x 16 sail. Not exactly square. I emailed the company 2 days ago and hope to hear back from them soon.

Questions & Answers
Do you sell poles for the sunshades? I was not able to locate them on your site.
I recently purchased 1 1/4" diameter galvanized pipe by 10ft length from Lowe's and drilled a hole at the top and installed an eye bolt for my connection point. I was able to attach this 10ft pole to my wooden deck using hardware also found at Lowe's.

How would you Anchor the sail to brick As we have a 16x16 deck.
Hi Alexa, The basic hardware kit that is included does not include a connection for brick. Since the shade sail has a ring in each cover you would have to attach something to the brick and then use the rope to attach the shade sail. Thank you

What is the difference between the regular and heavyweight model
Hi Lindsay, The GSM on the lighter option is 160 compared to the heavy weight option which is 230. The GSM refers to grams per square meter and how tight the weave is. Thank you
